Profile & Natural History
Ball pythons refuse food when their world is wrong — humidity too low (incomplete sheds), insufficient hides, oversized enclosures, or too much handling. The husbandry kit: two hides (warm and cool), 60–70% humidity (a moisture box helps), and horizontal security over height. They are the most-kept python and the most commonly mis-set-up; the fix list is short and the animals live 30 years.
