Profile & Natural History

Gargies share the crested gecko's climate needs with a bolder temperament — they bite more, jump harder, and hunt insects more enthusiastically. Same powdered-diet base with heavier insect portions, same misting cycles, same heat intolerance above 28°C. The "ears" (actually cranial bumps) give them their name and their gargoyle stare.
