Profile & Natural History

Corn snakes earn their gateway status: tolerant of beginner mistakes, eat reliably, handle beautifully, and live two decades. The husbandry is starter-friendly — heat gradient, hides, water, and an escape-proof lid (they are constrictors with a talent for exits). Adults take adult mice every 7–10 days. Morphs (snow, anery, tessera) make the same animal a collectible — care identical across colors.
