Profile & Natural History
Water dragons combine three demanding disciplines: arboreal husbandry (tall, planted, climbable), aquatic husbandry (a real swimming area with filtration), and humidity engineering (misting systems or it is a desert). The famous nose-rub — dragons rubbing snouts raw on glass — is a stress and enclosure-size signal. They are spectacular, social-looking lizards for keepers ready to build a small rainforest corner.
